SURVIVOR



"Survivor" is the American adaptation of the international reality competition television franchise. The format originated from the Swedish series "Expedition Robinson," created by Charlie Parsons. The American version of "Survivor" premiered on May 31, 2000, on CBS and has since become one of the longest-running and most popular reality shows in the United States.


Hosted by Jeff Probst, the show follows a group of contestants stranded in a remote location, where they must work together to survive, build shelter, and compete in various challenges. The ultimate goal is to outwit, outplay, and outlast fellow contestants to become the Sole Survivor and win a cash prize. Mark Burnett and Charlie Parsons, the original creator, are among the executive producers of the American series. "Survivor" has gone through numerous seasons, each set in different locations with unique challenges and twists.
